Mum's coming home from hospital today!
They haven't drained the blood from her abdomen that was from the internal bleeding, and they found a cyst on each ovary. They've decided to send her home and get her back in for surgery some time next week so they can drain the blood and remove the ovaries (not that bad, she doesn't need 'em and isn't too fussed about having them removed) at the same time. They were going to drain the blood yesterday! And then today! Dear oh dear. I'm the last person to complain about the NHS - god knows we're damned lucky to have free healthcare in this country - but I do wish they'd get themselves organised. They complain about a bed shortage but they keep people like mum in there for a week without actually fixing what's wrong. Blah!
It'll be good to have her back, though. Poor Cirrus might actually relax now the whole 'pack' is home, haha.
